New... again :D

Hey everyone! My name is Vicky and this will be round 2 on MFP. I deleted my original account because I was embarrassed and ashamed of gaining back the weight i lost on here. I have been trying to get rid of this weight for years and I would like for this time to be successful and permanent. My main problem is after day 30 I become depressed and lack motivation then just say screw it and eat like there's no tomorrow. This happens every time I "diet". :indifferent:

Does anyone else have this problem of depression and lack of motivation after day 30??? Any advice??

Hope everyone is having a great day! I wish you well on your journey :flowerforyou:

Vicky, Hi there, my name is Penney Rose and I have a similar story. I lost 100 lbs 12 years go and have gaine 50 back in the last 2 years. Menapause made depression more severe , empty nest, my daddy dieing and a crummy marriage have given me a nice warm pity pool for me to swim in and give up on myself..... to top it off, I work for a diet company so embarrased is something I am all to familiar with. Advise? What works for one person, I have discovered , may not work for another, however..... walk walk walk..... it truly is the key.... I don't walk fast and I don't walk that often but I am getting out there as much as my body will let me. I have just finished week 1 back in charge of my health...... walking not only burns calories but the fresh air and points of life really help to lift depression. It will provide the foundation for building a healthier life,

Thanks:) Yeah I used to love walking but with the weight gain I am embarrassed to go out. I know I just need to go do it and not care what other people think but its so hard sometimes.
