If you don't know what it is, here's a link: http://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php

Basically, it's a calculator that tells you what you'll weigh in the future if you eat however number of calories. I know that it doesn't have a crystal ball, but I was wondering just how accurate you think it might be? I don't want to use it for motivation if it's completely wrong...

wow! i'd be 06/29/2014 87.71 lbs! EFF YEAH

Also, i guess it could be kind of accurate, however, being off by only a few calories every day could drastically skew its outcome. And lets be honest are you going to hit your goal every single day? Probably not.

Its just a mathematic equation, and if it gives you motivation, go for it! Keep in mind this also only accounts for weight and does not take into account your lean body mass or the amount of fat you have. ;)

yeah no... that was with me eating 1700 calories a day for the next two years apparently. XD That's 200 above my maintenance according to MFP so i believe that one may be over-estimating activity level? Im not sure...

That's weird, 1700 seems like it's fine to me to maintain a a good weight for most people. At any rate, I think you'd consider adding more calories to your diet when your weight starts to drop below 100...

Meh, up to a point (about 30 lbs less than I weigh right now) it's fairly consistent with what I have lost. It is also, to about the same point, consistent with the rate at which I am trying to loose weight.

I played with numbers a bit, and for me, changing the numbers by about 100 meant about a 10 lbs difference at the end of a 2 year mark.

HOWEVER, this does assume the same amount of calories for the full 2 year time period, it doesn't have a "drop by this many calories after this number of pounds" option.

Thank you for a toy to play with for a bit.

That's fine by me, I'm only looking to drop 20 pounds and maintain it, I don't think that will take me 2 years :) Thanks!
