Well, that was kind of strange. I am not sure what the criteria is for banner ads on MFP, but the one I just saw when I logged in was $1 off an Oreo Cookie Jar Blizzard at Dairy Queen.
For those that may be unaware, those are not good for your diet.

I'm betting advertisers target sites based on meta tags...this site's meta tags are probably stuff like food, diet, etc. That's why the ads are frequently diet products or fitness attire.
