Yet another question about exercise calories

I know everyone says to eat back your exercise calories and that you should always eat your net calories.
My question is, yesterday I did not eat back my exercise calories, I completed my journal for the day and it did not come up in red and tell me I am eating too few calories. Won't MFP tell you if you aren't eating enough?

Hi
You should always make sure you have AT LEAST a net calorie total of 1,200. Depending on how much you want to lose, MFP tells you how much your net total should be. If you have fewer than that, your metabolism will slow down and not work as efficiently. Basically your body will starve if you don't have that minimum calorie intake. It's okay if you're below it, but not by anymore than around 200ish. Hope this helps
