Sat I was in the garage area at Kentucky Speedway. When we first got there we walked thru all the fan stuff up front before heading into the garage. Which means walking thru the tunnel to get to the infield. From our car to pit road was well over a mile. We went from the back of the garage to the front straight wall, and did parade laps around the haulers multiple times. My guess we easily did 6+ miles of walking thru the night. This is not the first time Ive done this. So whats the NSV? While this isnt the first time Ive been in the pits, its DEF the first time I didnt get chub rub to the n'th degree!!! Last year at 340ish my chub hurt so 2 or 3 days. To top it off it was at one point the ground in the pits was 148 deg. It didnt dawn on me till I was sitting in the car going home that nothing hurt. An odd NSV but a victory none the less.

NSV = Non Scale Victory and a buddy works for TRD. Ours were HOT passes which meant we were allowed in the pits during the race. I know Cold passes allow you in the pits before the race just not during. If you you have never been down there, you will love it. I went over the wall in ARCA and Hooters Pro Cup for 6-7 years so the newness has worn off. Granted, still fun to be around the action.

That is AWESOME!!!! It's the little things like this that just make me smile. I mean, a scale victory is great too, but just every day little things is the best feeling!!! Keep up the great work you're doing! It really shows through your NSVs! :)

I will remeber that when we go to Charlotte. We camp at the Tom Johns's which is right next to the track.. I walk a lot during that week. If you have not been to that track it is a nice track. I am also looking forward to walking with out being out of breath or people asking me " Are you ok." Do you need a ride?"

Ive been to the dirt track for the World of Outlaws. Since its a local race for the teams, hard to get passes to that place. For some reason everyone wants to go. :)
