I just tried a new sandwich for lunch and loved it so much I had to share.

2 Slices whole wheat Bread Toasted (120 calories)
1 Wedge Light Original Swiss Laughing Cow Spreadable Cheese (35 Calories)
2 Ounces Lean Roast Beef (60 Calories)
2 Ounces Lean Turkey ( 50 Calories)
Lettuce (5 Calories)
2 Slices Tomato (10 Calories)

I spread the cheese on the bread instead of using Mayo or anything else and then stacked the other ingredients between the two slices of toast. It was Delish and only 280 Calories low in fat and so filling!!!

My new favorite is 2 oz of honey smoked turkey with slice of reduced fat swiss - spinach, lettuce and cucumber - salt and pepper on wheat - mmmmm so good had it today!

I will try the laughing cow on a sandwich - great idea!

sounds good! both of your favs.....I love to use an avocado as my condiment or in place of mayo....lately I've been doing lettuce wraps....w/ all my fav fillings like honey ham or honey turkey or tuna, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, etc....the crunchier the better and dip in it a lil hot sauce if I am up for it....

    mmm now I want a sandwich! LOL:drinker:

I like the avocado idea. I will use pesto or hummus as a spread too. Ups the calories a bit, but it's good for you stuff! :)

I LOVE THE LAUGHING COW! I used the spreadable swiss on cinnamon raisin bread, and it was just like a Cinnamon Raisin bagel with cream cheese, but like a 1/3 of the calories! :glasses:

I use the Laughing Cow cheese for my sandwiches too. Love it. I'll take Shanta's tomatoes.
