Anyone else have an aversion to tomatos? I just cannot bring myself to eat them unless they are pureed and made into chili or spaghetti sauce, etc. They are ALWAYS in my salads when I get them but I cannot stand to eat them. is it bad that I dont?

Tomatoes are not a paragon of virtue vegetable-wise anyway (in fact, they are technically a fruit). They are healthy in that they have a decent amount of potassium and Vitamin C and a little fiber, but you won't die of a lack of them, and half the non-fiber carbs are simple sugars.

Ask the restaurant to not put them on and add an extra handful of lettuce if you can. ;)

EDIT: Personally I love them, and I love the fact that my wife hates them - more tomatoes for me! But they're a minor detail in your diet, and as long as you're getting your potassium and vitamin C from somewhere else, you're good.
