strength training without the equipment

they're closing down the weight room in our university gym for a few months so i was wondering if you guys know of any good strength training exercises that i could do in my dorm that doesn't require any equipment (aside from pushups, sit ups, lunges, and squats)

There are lots...if you can, I would suggest ordering "the 30-day shred"dvd

30 day shred is awesome!! I definately recomend that. I do it a lot and I'm a broke college student as well so I download them on youtube. You can also check out Shap's Bikini Body workout, and shape.com in general to see new strengthening moves. You will need some equipment for these, but it isn't too expensive and its stuff you will use all the time. Just the basics, dumbells, stability ball, weighted medicine ball, resistance band for the bikini body moves but you can also use that strengthening leg muscles.0

Try incorporating a resistance band. They are cheap and don't take up any space. You would be amazed of the workout that you can get with them. The package usually comes with basic exercise suggestions.0
