WINNING THE LOTTERY!?!?

So I buy most of my jeans from the buckle and maurice's so they won't be high waters on me (I dealt with that enough as a kid). So of course my jeans are about $80 a pop. When I started gaining weight and "outgrew" my jeans I hung onto most of them thinking maybe just maybe one day I can fit back into them.

I have lost 14 lbs so far and I decided to try on two pairs I have kept. One pair no longer gives me a muffin top although they're still a little to tight for public (I can't really move in them). The other pair finally fastens again! They give me a horrid muffin top but I haven't been able to fasten them in well over 9 months!!!

I still have 10 more lbs to my goal but i am obviously making progess. Does anyone else feel like they are winning the lottery when you get into your smaller size clothes again!?! I mean if I were to have replaced these two pairs of jeans it would have cost me $160!!! So it's kind of like I just won $160 and got two new pairs of jeans!!

Great story! You will be able to wear them again if you keep it up. Way to go!

I'm super excited about it because one of the pairs was worn so little before they got too small I could probably take them back without any issues of wear!!! And they are my favorite cut of jeans by the buckle too!!!

Congratulaions. I know exactly how you feel, as this happened to me 2 months ago. I m also now wearing a belt and tucking in my t shirts, whereas before I wore t shirts hanging over to disguise tummy. It is really fantastic to be able to pull up zips on jeans which have been waiting in the bottom drawer for the day when they would finally fit again. Lets contnue to make the right decisions about eating which will help us to fit the jeans which we love. Have a good day!!!

I had never thought about it, but you're right! It is like winning some extra money...it's just lovely to slide into something you had kind of given up hope about. Congratulations! I think you're going to have more and more NSV's as time goes on. They come in all different versions.
