I wonder if hummus would work on brussel sprouts. I tried cheese, but it just tasted like brussel sprouts and cheese. Brussel sprouts are made of yuck.

If your talking bagged frozen yes, but homegrown picked young is wonderful. Cut in half and roast with garlic

Yummm, brussel sprouts, one of my favorite veggies. :) I've seen them cut them up and cook them in some olive oil, so they break apart. I've never tried them that way, but they claimed even people that don't like them, liked them that way.

Sorry, didn't mean to take over the OP's post. :blushing:

First - you look GREAT - CONGRATS on the impressive loss and success!! on the brussel sprouts - maybe. I love broccoli - I read recently it has all the essential vitamins your body needs in a day except for D. Talk about a power food. Plus its an anti-inflammatory, but you really need to cook it to get it's benefits since we can't break it down in it's raw form. YUM-O! do you like hummus?

Depends on the sprouts (assuming you are in the US) our grocery store brussel sprouts are horrible, and I like brussel sprouts, but Wegmans ones are oh so good, shop around and try some more.

If all else fails, fry up some bacon with the brussel sprouts then don't eat the bacon, but the flavor will be awesome.

But as for fast food, it has to be most of McDonalds menu, only available as a treat after each 10lbs lost

I love hummus. Hummus is peanut butter's greek cousin. I want to like brussel sprouts, but they're so bitter. I only had them once or twice, but I think they did come from a frozen bag both times.

Thanks for the compliments by the way :)

Bacon does make everything better. Collard greens with bacon & onion is pretty good. I hadn't thought of trying that with brussel sprouts.

I think ROASTED brussel sprouts with a bit of olive oil & seasonings are amazing ..... (no cheese or hummus needed) :drinker:

Hmmm... sorry. I didn't think this was trolling... it IS fast food and I love it. Fast food is open to interpretation :) a little play on words is all...

Never been called a troll before!
