    I did a google search on photos of types of earthworms. I couldn't find any exactly like the ones in your photo. These are as close as I could get for worms looking similar to yours.

    Oh, here I was thinking it was animal, not veggie. Guess my eyes are going (wondering what's next, there's not a lot left).

    This looks similar. It's in the "stinkhorn" family of mushrooms.

    I had a couple of those near some trees I planted last year. They grew when I overwatered it...so weird looking!
