Not loosing weight? Help anyone

I have been eating very light....very light....my calories do not add to anything but I feel full and bloated all the time. Is it ok to eat this low of calories for weight loss if I am never left feeling hungry? I have gained weight eating higher calories...I have even taken days to write every single last drop in my mouth but never came close to 1200 calories. I sometimes feel sick to my stomach before I eat, even when I am suposed to be hungery...any sugestions??? (I do have IBS and have problems eating most foods from time to time but this has been going on longer than normal so I don't think IBS is to blame :(

if you are getting sick and physically unable to eat AT LEAST 1200 calories, you need to see a doctor immediately.

Your food log is private, so its hard to say what you are doing - but eating the right foods shoul dgive you no problem getting 1200 min calories. You need more than that though.

^^Agreed! You can't lose weight eating less than 1200 calories a day. At that point your body goes into survival mode and will hold onto any and all foods you take in. If you're having a hard time getting to 1200 without getting sick, I'd definitely recommend seeing a doctor. 1200 is not that much! Please make sure to take care of yourself!

I agree with above (MMReed)--get thee to an MD. Hope all is well!

(You can lose weight eating less than 1200, but you really shouldn't, for the most part.)

Yeah, you'll lose weight under 1200 cals, but the cals your body burns are coming from muscle, not fat. This is NOT what you want. Livestrong is a great website as well with lots of good articles. Have a read!
