can't seem to lose an average of 1 pound per week

I started tracking the end of may 2012 and have only lost 3 lbs any suggestions. I first thought I was building muscle now I am just frustrated.

If you're looking to lose in such a way that you will keep it off, you're right on track: just about 1/2 pound a month. Give yourself some praise! And keep exercising. Without knowing more about you, it might be hard for the experts on here to offer any more advice.0

I too am losing very slowly, but at least the scale is going down now, instead of up like it used to. It helps to think that before you were probably slowly GAINING weight, and now not only have you stopped the weight gain, you're actually moving backwards and losing, even if slowly.0

I have lost 1 inch around waist and 1/2 inch around hips0
