When will I get out of this plateau?

I've been stuck at the same weight now for 2 weeks. During this time I have increased my strength training and also tried increasing my calories but nothing is working! I go to the gym 5 times a week and eat as clean as possible. I've been a lower weight than this in the past so it's not like my body won't let me lose anymore. When will it end?!

Also I know it's not muscle - I'm not going to increase my muscle mass in four weeks of weight training.0

You can technically gain muscle "weight" - i.e. water retention - from that degree of training.
Having said that, 5 days of strength training is a lot and it can stalemate recovery + potentially weight loss.
If you're not doing so already, take measurements of chest / abd / hips / thigh / upper arm. That should help you determine if you're losing fat but gaining muscle (and hence canceling out the scale movements).0 -
Stick with it. Mine just lasted 3 weeks. About drove me crazy. Just started to move again. I also looked at your daily. Too many carbs?0

Perhaps. I'm taking my food diary for this week to my personal trainer on Friday to see what she says. However I did manually adjust my macros on here as per http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ so I assumed they were OK.0 -

Yeah I've started taking measurements but I'm going to wait a while to do my next lot.
At the moment I only do weight training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I just do cardio and core exercises to give my muscles some recovery time.0 -

1 - Eat less
2 -Exercise more
3 - Combination of 1 & 2
4 - Eat more, but make sure you exercise much, much more
And to the OP: 2 weeks?? Come on.... Stop looking at the scale and get back to business. If you're logging your calories correctly, you'll continue to lose over time.

It's actually quite normal not to lose for a couple of weeks in a row, even if you're doing everything "right". I wouldn't panic about it being a plateau unless it goes on for a couple of months. Chances are, your muscles are retaining water as they repair themselves, masking any weight loss on the scale. Just keep doing what you're doing and give it some time. I'm sure you'll see some movement soon.0

this is not a plateau. This is your body adjusting to the changes you are making. give it time.0
