Good morning muscle versus pounds???? help

I was wondering if you build muscle before dropping weight?? I have been doing Zumba for almost a month maybe missing 2 days and I also do yoga daily and my scale hasnt moved much. The only thing thats changed is people notice I carry myself better and look more alive and healthy which was one of my goals as well but what about the weight? Will I burn off the fat after I start to tone up?? Any advice would be great!! Thank you Eva
