Liquid vs solids - Protein shakes

I'm trying to eat a high protein diet for to aid in building muscle

I have been drinking a protein shake everyday, because of the low calories it often saves the day and allows me to hit my calorie target. My other meals are not liquid.

Recently I have been struglling to hit my calorie and protein goals and realised by having more than one shake a day, it easily brings me in under calories and over in protein. Potentially I could implement upto about three shakes a day and still have two good 'solid' food meals. It's also one of the cheapest ways I can find of getting enough protein

I'm not going to completely supplement solids, but I was wondering if anyone could see any issues with this? I am taking the shake with a little milk, so getting vitamins and minerals from that, also a vitamin tablet supplement daily.
