So I bought a pair of Reebok Realflex shoes. They lasted maybe 2 months, and the sides ripped out, I went back to the store I bought them at, no luck need to send to Reebok, called got a return number, sent back and NOTHING, it’s been 10 weeks, they said it would take about 5-6 to get a replacement pair. I have tried to get them to respond as to what is going on and NOTHING. GRRRRR Reebok has lost a customer for life.

    Yeah, I don't like Reebok.

I prefer Nike, New Balance and Vibrams.

Had similar issues with Zig Techs. I will stick with New Balance or Asics.

I only bought Reebok for many years. Then they had those stupid soft porn 'toning shoes' commercials. I emailed them and told them I found the commercials and the concept offensive and would never buy their products again. No reply. I found new brands.

I think they got sued over false claims for those stupid 'toning shoes', or at least Skechers did.

new balance, asics, puma and adidas have always been the only athletic shoe brands i could wear. i'm pretty hard on my shoes so the reeboks, nikes, brook, fila, etc always end up tearing apart after 1-2 months of wear.

Yep, and I don't know how they think their shoes are going to hold up to you crossfit freaks, all I did was walk in mine.

I've never had a pair of Nikes be uncomfortable or fall apart. I'm all for them.
I like Vibrams too, but I've only had mine for about a month so I can't recommend them for long-term use yet.

I've owned two pairs of Nikes, one pair of Reeboks (not the Realflex ones but a pair of their cross trainers, the Evaluate Trainer), and one pair of ASICS. Of those three, the only one I personally would recommend to anyone for serious active use are the ASICS.

The Nikes are sized weird. They fit narrow and I had to go up one full size just to accommodate the width of my foot, which is not one size at all. I am a textbook 10. The rep at ****'s Sporting Goods told me this is common for Nikes, to fit narrow. On top of that the material that makes up the cushioning of the soles seems to break down in a very short amount of time compared to other shoes I've owned. It almost seemed like they were engineered to need to be replaced in a couple of months. But that's beside the point. Regardless of quality or features, if the shoe doesn't fit your foot exactly as so, move on. You won't get good performance out of a shoe if it has excess space left in the toe area.

The Reeboks fit great and last forever. I've had them for even longer than the Nikes and even though the Nikes are no longer wearable the Reeboks are still kickin'. I'd almost say they're flawless, except for one VERY BIG detail. They do not have enough cushioning for high impact activities of any kind, which is a big deal for a Cross Trainer. If you're looking for something you can do plyometrics in, these will hurt. A lot. They seem to actually magnify the impact vs. doing things barefoot. Sole is hard as a rock with no shock absorption at all.

The ASICS are amazing. Flawless. I've had them the longest of the three and I still wear them. They perform just flawlessly. Last a long time, ample cushion for plyometrics, decent (but not great) support for lifting, great for running, comfortable, and fit great. There is not one single bad thing I can say about them. My next pair of trainers will be another pair, only this time I will opt for a higher end model. These are the bare bone low end models, the Gel-Express 3.

They're too busy paying out the *kitten* for their "toning" lawsuit to reply to emails or do basic customer service. My only pair of reeboks unfortunately were toning..which I had no idea since I either didn't read the labels or they were so vague (which is my guess) that it was hard to tell. The reeboks were comfy when I put them on and stood there, but if I walked longer than 5min or god forbid tried to run...awful! I like my basic saucony's that I've had for years and have yet to wear out. I'd like a pair of nike free which are like barefoot running shoes but look more like shoes (as opposed to the vibrams) but I'd be happy to buy more saucony's
