is TapOut XT or Rush fit right for me?

I'm an 18 year old female powerlifter.I'm 5'8" I weigh about 260.I've been doing Insanity for 2 weeks and I'm seeing some results but I would like to try something else because the constant jumping is killing my knees and I cannot afford to have an injury.I want to lose some weight but also improve my overall strength and endurance to prepare for the powerlifting season.I love MMA so both of these appeal to me but I can't decide if Rush fit or TapOUT XT is right for me.Please help?

Can't say what's right for you.... but, I'm doing Rushfit after my current rotation of P90X2. I like Eric Owings, he's strictly business, cares more about form and proper technique than pounding you into submission. I've "previewed" Tapout and it reminds of something like Insanity i.e. hell-for-leather, joint-busting stuff that makes you sacrifice form and probably tends to injure the unwary. It's also a myth that pushing yourself to the point of a heart attack and holding yourself there for 30-40 mins burns more calories. You get a better effect from intervals or getting yourself into that 80ish % sweet spot.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably cycle through Tapout at some point in the future just to try it out. And it sure looks like a tough program. I see all the "models" in the background doing their own thing with bad, sloppy form and the instructor does very little in the way of correction. As a martial artist, I can keep my form "crisp", I do worry for those who have no previous exposure to a striking art and may pick up bad habits......

I guess if you're mostly worried about injury prevention then I'd go for Rushfit, although I can't say how effective either program is just yet. I start Rushfit in Sep/Oct, so get back to me around Christmas time!

My hubby and I are starting Rush Fit next week. I agree with the above post that the trainer is ALL about form - which is awesome. I've done some of the workouts in the beginner training program and really enjoy them.
I think if you did the experienced program you would probably enjoy it. (I'm DEFINITELY a beginner).
    Good luck in your choices!!!!

You should be well underway by now! Just thought I'd check back and see how it was going for you both? What are the stand out routines?
