Hi guys!
This Saturday i am doing a 26 mile hike (The Yorkshire Three peak challenges) which is meant to take around 12 hours (gulp). I am fairly fit and usually work out every day doing classes such as spinning and circuits.
However, I have just been thinking that if i was to work out up until the day of the challenge i will be shattered and aching before i even start the walk!!
As i don't fancy being rescued off the side of the mountain LOL do you think it's best if i do not train for the rest of the week?
Do runners have a couple of days break before a big race or marathon? etc etc
Thanks
