My Official Introduction

Good evening/morning/afternoon to all of MFP's.
I have been snooping the forum now for ofter a week and needless to say, I have transfered my food addiction for my addiction to MFP!
I have struggled with my weight for almost all of my life, and over the past 2 - 3 years, I have only noticed my numbers going UP. I figure I need to get control of this before it gets any worse.
I am 23-years-old, no children, and I live with a wonderful, supportive boyfriend who has been with me through thick - so I know he will be around through thin as well.
My goal is to lose 100lbs. I have never made such a high goal, but when I say this to myself "I am/need to/want to lose 100lbs" it really highlites the seriousness of my obesity for me, which keeps me going. It becomes a big deal in my head.
My diet before was pretty much 0% fruits and vegetables, 100% crap. This is reason enough for my weight, as well as my activity level has pretty much been 0% as well. I figure, before I start investing into activity, i need to learn to eat properly. If im just going to stuff my face with crap after a good bike ride, the results will not be there.
I have been at this "eatting more fruits and vegetables" for almost 3 weeks now - on my 2nd week weigh in, i was already down 9 pounds. My meals are now ATLEAST 50% vegetables and all snacks are now fruit.
I find it interesting when I see peoples reactions when I say "I am trying to lose 100lbs". They look shocked, almost as if I am joking. I have taken a "Before" picture - along with every other picture of me ever taken, and the only feeling i felt when i saw it was "devestated".
My motivations are, but not limited to
-be comfortable infront of a camera
-be able to dress the way I want
-health (stress, hair loss, out of shape)
-look better with my clothes off than on!
-confident to go out, without worrying about my tummy (i tend to get anxiety and i isolate at times because of my weight)
I have adopted a bit from Intuitive Eating strategy, as well as general "calories in/calories out" and just eating healthier choices. I have already noticed a difference. I went out for breakfast with my boyfriend and his parents. I ordered an omlette and it came with hashbrowns. Once i saw it - the entire plate was "brown/yellow" in color, and I immediately did not feel right eating it without a salad/fruit instead of potatoes. I ate my omlette, and went on a search for a piece of fruit - but after, i realized, i was satisfied anyway. This has never happened before.
I am thrilled to be on this website and join all of you during your journeys. I absolutely love the before/after pics everyone has been posting! I am looking forward when I can do the same.
I have already imaged what I might look like after I lose this weight (my hair, my clothes, confidence)...and I can say, I look amazing.
