Hi! Back in 2005, I weighed 469 lbs. until I had the gastric bypass surgery and lost almost 200 lbs. I had never felt so good about myself. Well, my husband and I decided to have a baby and I gained 80 lbs. That was in 2008... and the weight (none of it) didn't come off when I had her. So, four years later, I'm 90 lbs. heavier than my lowest weight. I topped out at 351.8 and for the last two weeks I've been working my butt off (literally)! I've been in the pool two hours a day, four days a week, making up my own water aerobic-type exercise. My sister told me about this website and it seems like a wonderful way to hold myself accountable for the things I eat throughout the day - keep track of my calories and find out how many calories I'm burning with my exercise. I am very pleased to say that the scale said 338.6 today. Yay! Only 150 lbs. to go! I'm tired of this weight holding me back from the things I want in my life... for all that I want to be for my family. I look forward to learning all that I can. And I'm happy to be joining everyone else who's on their own life-changing journey.
