Must beat my roommate

Two weeks ago, my roommate and I started a weight loss challenge. Winner gets bragging rights. Well, I've worked out 10 times in the last 14 days, watched what I ate, and actually gained a pound. UGH.... My male roommate lost 5 pounds. I know men lose weight easier than women but I can't let him win this challenge. For the sake of all women out there... I must win... hahah... In all honesty, I just want to lose 10-15 pounds so that I can fit into my old work clothes and generally feel more sexy. Besides, the inner tube aka my tummy has gotz to go.

I could use some friends, advice, etc... this is definitely a difficult journey for all! The worst part is that after a particularly difficult workout... all I want is a beer! ugh... Samuel Adams, Pacifico, Dos XX... please leave me alone :)

    low carb! its the safest, fastest way to lose weight, and its really good for competitions.
