First of all, let me say you are doing a good job and look great too!!! I also have hypothyroidism and I take med's for it. It is harder to lose weight, but I know it can be done. I have lost 20 pounds about 3 times, but I put it all back on plus a few. This time I promise my husband that I wouldn't give up. He really made me feel bad the other day, but was saying what he felt. He said to me, I want you to be healthy and for us grow old together. It did make me shade a few tear's, but I want the same. My sister passed away in 2003 just before Christmas from a brain aneurysms and she too was over weight. I think just maybe if she had taken better care of herself that it might had not ever formed into an aneurysm, but who knows. My sister was a size bigger then I am today, So I have to keep tring!!! So what ever you do...DON'T GIVE UP!!! Keep up what you are doing, because you must be doing something right!!!0

Someone has asked me via PM what I am doing for diet and exercise. I thought I'd post that info here, too, in case anyone else is curious.
My exercise regimen:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Warmup--10min eliptical
2 minutes, level 12, backward motion
2 minutes, level 10, forward motion
2 minutes, level 3, forward motion sprint
Repeat through end of warmup
Strength Training--30 minutes
Leg Press, 2 sets 15 reps @ 220lbs
Leg Extension, 2 sets 15 reps @ 50lbs
Leg Curl, 2 sets 15 reps @ 50lbs
Hip Abductor, 2 sets 15 reps @ 90lbs
Hip Adductor, 2 sets 15 reps @ 90lbs
Chest Press, 2 sets 15 reps @ 60lbs
Abdominal Crunch (machine), 2 sets 15 reps @ 80lbs
Back Extension, 2 sets 15 reps @ 85lbs
Shoulder Press, 2 sets 15 reps @ 40lbs
Upper Back, 2 sets 15 reps @ 60lbs
Lat Pull Down, 2 sets 15 reps @ 80 lbs
Arm Curl, 2 sets 15 reps @ 35lbs
Arm Extension, 2 sets 15 reps @ 65lbs
Cardio
10 minutes, Wave Glider (similar to a stair climber, but side to side instead of up and down), 5min @ level 3, 5min @ level 5
16 minutes, Eliptical (same segments as warmup)
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Cardio
Walk/Run on Treadmill 30 minutes
5 minute warmup @ 3mph
1 minute @ 5mph
2 minutes @ 3mph
Continue to alternate 1 and 2 minute sements for 20 minutes
5 minute cool down @ 3mph
2 sets 20 sidestep squats
2 sets 20 swiss ball ab crunches
2 sets side skip (skipping sideways around the track in my gym)
2 sets 20-30 calf raises
2 sets 20 reverse crunches
2 sets 20-30 leg raises
2 sets 20 supermans
15 minutes deep stretching
Diet is really common sense, clean eating (fresh veggies and fruit, lean meats, no processed/fast food) and staying within my calorie limits as often as possible. Been a little lax in that area lately, though. Need to work harder at that. Also drink lots of water.0 -

Everyone's body composition is different. You may be a little shorter than me, and I have always had large bones and a naturally higher muscle mass than most women...even when I haven't been exercising. I was wearing a size 24W-26W in the before pic. Now I can wear a size 18W-20W. You'd be surprised at how much your body will change in appearance when you work on building muscle instead of just losing weight. For about a three month period the scale hardly moved at all, but I was still losing inches.0 -
