I was wondering what exercises to do since I have been having problems with my back recently. It's not because of not exercising that my back is bothering me, it is because I got into a car accident a year ago and it's slowly but surely getting worse. I go to pt twice a week and that helps but usually bother my back. I walk at least 45 minutes a day, but I don't know what other exercises I can do. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

hope&faith.

Try Bikram yoga--it's great for aligning & strengthening the back.

Have you tried water exorcises? Anything low impact that wont stress your back... the best person to ask is your PT. They can give you all kinds of ideas that wont hurt you further. :flowerforyou:

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!!!

I had Stenosis year before last and what works for me is the Sitting down with legs straight out Incumbent Stationary Bike. I love it because it's easy on my butt:laugh:

Also the Exercise ball with the bouncing makes my back feel so good. You should call & ask your PT what they think too. Good Luck with that. I know walking is good & yoga too. :flowerforyou:

First of all make sure you stretch it very good.
