What is your opinions on it?
It works.0 -
Works well, as far as losing weight, it's still pretty madatory that you need to eat 80+% "clean" foods. There's no way in hell you can get around eating nothing poptarts and whey protein all day, everyday like most people think.
I'm tired of people confusing IIFYM with "If it fits your calories"0 -
It works and it's very, very misunderstood.0

Is this something only for men?
lol
What is it??0 -

What is it??
If It Fits (in with) Your Macros0 -
Works for me - but works better from a 'healthy' viewpoint to make sure you have balance from a micronutrient etc perspective also.0

its a good start to dieting in my opinion, but after you have some experience you need to understand that the kind of calories you eat can have a huge difference in your body composition, and overall good health
think about it in terms of fuel for your car
Sure regular unleaded is still going to fuel your car, but putting premium gas in your car will make a big difference in performance
unleaded gas = poptarts, pizza, hamburgers etc.
premium gas = oats, red meat, grilled chicken etc.
hope that helps!!0 -
Works well. It's a concept a lot of folks find difficult to grasp. So, they discount it as not being effective.0

Also note that hamburgers are apparently not made of red meat.0 -
sure IIFYM works, but as said above, it needs to be a fragment of your diary, the point is, you make up your macros with mostly nutritious vegetables, lean meats etc, then you eat a big hunk of cheesecake. IIFYM and cheesecake got me through marathon training, i just got so sick of shovelling down rice!0
