Hello,
So I started working out again, consisting of high intensity cardio. I have been eating 1200-1500 calories. I started gaining weight and I am unsure why? With cardio shouldn't I be losing? Also, in my diary everyday I seem to go over in my protein? Would that have anything to do with my weight? Any advice would be appreciated:) THANKS and happy 4th!

It's not unusual for us to gain a little weight when we start a new workout program because sore muscles absorb water to help them heal. Drink lots of fluids to help flush out the excess and the scale should start to move in the right direction soon.0
