Just run my first 5K (6 actually!!)

I have been running for about six months or so and have been gradually working my way up to having a higher level of stamina. I went out tonight with the view of having a normal run but as I got to the halfway point I felt great and decided to push on further. I have been using RunKeeper to track distance & calories burned. Anyway, I was running for 38 mins and clocked up just over 6K! I'm stoked at achieving this...it's a little milestone but no I want to concentrate on losing the flab I have around my middle. I might even invest in a new pair of running trainers!

    Great job! A good pair of shoes will make a big difference...you can do it. Treat yourself and keep running!!
