Calling all Seattlelites!

My husband and I are trying to figure out where to go to watch the Lake Union fireworks. We're on Cap Hill, neither of us drive, and knowing traffic is insane on holidays, we'd like to avoid taking a taxi or bus anywhere. Lol
Any suggestions? :)
