FitBit v. Striiv

I posted a few days ago about choosing a HRM and a fitbit, or something like it. Well, I decided on a HRM that's not crazy expensive and got pretty good reviews on Amazon. But now, I still need something to track my daily activities. I can't decide between the fitbit and the Striiv! Both have really good things about them, and things I'm not in love with.

I like the small size of the fitbit, and I really like that it syncs with MFP and tracks your sleep. It seems like a good product with a solid reputation and lots of users on MFP, which would be a nice community to have if I have questions. I also like the fact that it syncs wirelessly.

But, I really love the fact that the Striiv offers the ability to donate money for clean water, vaccines, and rainforest conservation. I feel like the motivational aspects would help me get off my butt and move around more than just watching a little flower grow on the side of the fitbit. But I'm not sure how much I'm in love with the idea of a touch screen, it doesn't sync wirelessly or with MFP, and it seems a bit bulky compared to the fitbit.

Does anyone have experience with one or both of these? Which one do you think is better? They both cost the same, which actually drives me nuts, because it doesn't help my decision at all!

Fitbit does well. I was looking on the website for Striiv and being a gamer- well that would've been right up my alley. As far as getting you moving tho Fitbit has stats and all to compare. Also, you compete with the pals you gather on fitbit's website. It counts stairs and all also. It seems just the gaming is different. On Striivs website they talk about getting you up and moving, but doesn't that work with any competition? even yourself. There's also a site called Earndit that I link my fitbit too in order to compete with other folks and win prizes. I wouldn't trade my fitbit for anything
