Help ? Cant get rid of this Mommy Tummy !

I joined the gym and MFP back in January to try and rid the last of my "Baby Weight ", I have only lost 6 lbs in that time and can see such a Difference in my Legs , Arms and Back - I have Muscles and Definition and I feel so confidant in those areas . BUT after all this I just can't get rid of this weight in my Tummy. I have been told more Cardio , So I upped my Cardio. Tummy Exercises so I added that , Circuit Training so I tried that . Along with watching my diet can someone please tell me what else to do ??

    cardio and circuit training don't give much better results than just doing nothing and eating right in regards to fat loss. You want the belly fat to disappear? You gotta hit the weight hard, and lift heavvyyyyyyy.

  • Hello! congratulations on the weight loss and the muscle gains. What I would suggest to do is to drop your carbs big time, and up your fats and proteins, while staying at the same amount of calories.

    For example, if you were on a 2000 calorie diet, with a macro break down of 50%carb, 30%protein and 20%fat...

    try something like 2000 calories with 25% carbs, 40% protein and 35%fat.


    This is a very common problem for myself and for many others I have heard from, and from my experience, the best way to drop that belly fat was via doing more cardio, lifting weights, and dropping the carbs!
