I LOVE using battling ropes they are intense, for people who are unfamiliar with them here is a link

Just curious if anyone else are using them and what your experiences are with them so far.

I use these regularly in my backyard and have found them to be a great investment (I think I spent like $45). I was definitely surprised the first few routines I tried as they are a bit tougher than they look, especially at the end of a workout

Edit: forgot to mention that jump squats, lunges, double slams and side throws are my favorite with these

Use them all the time so many different ways as well. One tough one is to alternate hands and walk it in and out.

oh absolutely theres so much you can do with them, im currently using a 50 foot 2 inch rope which is a little heavy for me but It gets easier every time you do it. They're also great for people like me who constantly hurt themselves, I have a knee injury right now so running and biking are a no go so these are excellent for keeping up my conditioning

I have them on my deck (don't fit anywhere else) and they kick my butt better than almost anything. I got them to help heel a rotator cuff problem and I think they really help. Worried how I am going to do this once the snow flies though. Love these ropes
  • My trainer showed me a couple of these exercises, but not all. Good workout. Thanks for posting the link. I will try some of these other exercises next week.
