Hi,

I hear a lot that you are supposed to eat al least 1200 calories a day.... what if am not hungry to eat all 1200 calories? Will that affect my weight lost in the long run? My appetite decreases during my cycle, most other days I can eat all 1200 calories....

I am not a female and do not know anywhere close to anything about the cycle, however. From my experience and many of my friends on here. Forcing yourself to eat 6 small meals speeds up your metabolism quite a lot and makes you hungry. I used to force eat 2 times a day. Now after a month of forcing 6 small meals a day, I get hungry every 2 hours. Never thought that would happen. My friends (mostly female) have just posted similar things on their walls. As for reaching up to 1200 calories. Peanut butter is very small but high calories. If you want to get there try that or something else with small mass high calorie intake.

As far as I know, it is unhealthy to eat less than 1200, especially if you are exercising. It might make you lose weight but in the long run it wont help.
