Creatine is needed by the body and consumed naturally through diet but not enough to cope with strenuous exercise. Creatine is wonderful at holding water in the muscles to make them look bigger, supposed to assist in strength too.

However. Red meat is a wonderful, natural source and when you stop taking creatine supplements, they leave your muscles and take the water with it so they don't look as big. Think of a balloon with water in then letting it all out.

    Pretty much sums it up,

    nicely explained

OP is a vegetarian and therefore is someone I would think can definitely befit from it.
I am also a veg and I see a real difference in my work out energy when I take it..
In Edmonton powder mono-hydrate form is cheapest I have found. Can pick it up in the grocery stores
. Honestly I have never noticed a size or weight change due to it but am pretty flabby so it would not show.

Pretty much everything else the sell in GNC (besides protein powder) can go get bit.

GNC is way over priced on everything in the store, Everything. Much better prices are available with amazon.com or bodybuilding.com
