Guardian Angel?
Do you believe in guardian angels? I think if I didn't before, I really do now. Let me explain.
Friday I was home in bed w/ a migraine, when my husband called to ask if I knew where our cat Dusty was.
I said, yes she just jumped off the bed. And he asked if I was SURE. And I said YES, she jumped down right when the phone rang, why? And he said he was in the shop at work and this cat that looked IDENTICAL to our Dusty walked right in front of him and then out to his truck. He was afraid that Dusty had somehow gotten out of the house and hitched a ride in his truck. So he followed this Dusty impersonator to his truck where she went under and up onto the spare tire that's mounted under the truck. He crawled under the truck to get her out so that she didn't get hurt when he started the truck and drove off. Well, as they (he and his co-workers) were trying to coax the cat out from the spare tire, his friend Bill noticed that a bolt that holds the truck bed in place was loose and just hanging there. Had that bolt fallen completely out on the highway, my husband would have had a serious accident!! As soon as Bill noticed the bolt, the cat jumped down and ran away, never to be seen again. My husband looked and looked around for the cat but couldn't find her.
I honestly believe that little cat may have save his life and was a guardian angel, furthermore, I think it's my mom watching over us!!!
What's your opinion? Don't worry, I won't get mad if you don't agree. I know not every one believes in such things. Just trying to get some different perspectives here. But not trying to start any kind of argument.

My opinion, they exist. I was driving to college when I was 18 and didn't have my seatbelt on. I very clearly heard a voice tell me to put it on. I, being the only person in the car, thought it might be a good idea to do it. Not even 10 minutes later I hit a telephone pole at 50 mph and would have been killed without it.

I definitely believe in guardian angels. I never thought they were in the form of animals though but I believe God works in mysterious ways. It seems like He did indeed use the cat to save your husband's life. Thank you for sharing your story and may God bless you and your husband. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I do. I've never had something like that happen but I was recently (two months ago) in a car accident that just involved myself. My tire blew out going about 80 mph on the highway and I hit the guard rail on the highway spun and hit it again then somehow I ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road. I vividly remember everything about the accident except how I got to the other side of a four lane highway. I should also mention that miraculously no other cars hit me. I walked away with a bloody toe and a seat belt burn across my neck.0

I just remembered a time when I was a little kid and climbed a tree in our front yard. I climbed as far as I could to the top or the tree and was swaying back and forth. Suddently the branch broke and I was hanging upside down. For the life of me I can't remember anything after that including how I got down. I believe my guardian angel was with me that day. Nobody will every convince me otherwise.0

Sadly, I don't believe in dead relatives or guardian angel cats looking over us. But I do believe that there is a God, and that God looks over us, and that must of been a way of getting his (your husbands) attention as I doubt he would of payed attention to a cat that looked nothing like your own. Something familiar caught his attention, and thankfully saved his life and your family alot of grief.
Sometimes, you have to stop and be thankful for all that you have because it can be taken away in a moment.:flowerforyou:

Yes, I too believe in guardian angels and angels in general. When my daughter was very young she used to see one watching over her when she went to sleep at night, and would always ask me if I saw it too!

I definately believe in guardian angels. Recently we had our 200 year old 150 foot oak tree fall through our home, into our bedroom and land in our bed at 3:30 in the morning. My husband does not remember hearing anything he woke up as he was half way rolled over the top of me to protect me. The tree landed across his pillow crushing the bed. The entire roof fell on top of us. I did not have a scratch on me and my husband had only a few minor scratches. Had he not rolled over to protect me it would have crushed his head and upper body. It took out two of the four walls in our bedroom, one wall in the living room and 1/3 of the roof of our home. No one who saw the scene could believe we were alive let alone unharmed. Our angels were with us that night, they protected us. I thank them everyday!0
