How to stay on track while on vacation?

So a little background story on my fiance and me.

I'm from Southern California & he is from Alberta Canada.

We trade off who will be travelling to the other for visits. My turn is coming up at the end of this month. I leave July 31st to August 14th.

TWO WHOLE WEEKS! As excited as I am to be with him for so long (yes, two weeks is amazing for us when we go usually 50+ days without seeing each other) anyone have advice on how to keep on track with eating right and exercising?

I don't want to keep using "oh I'll start getting my crap together when I get back" as an excuse. I know he will have no problem helping and doing everything with me. I just need some ideas besides walking everyday. When I'm at home, I go to two classes at the gym, personal training at my work, swimming, and walking a day or two. I don't want to bore both of us by just walking.

Help :)

Well eating healthy is the biggest part of this. Do that and you should be great even without exercise. Although you will stay on track, if you want to do something, you can always get up for morning runs, or evening runs, 30 minutes or so will not hurt the day. If you two can go swimming, thats a great way to have fun and get a little exercise in as well. Thats all I can think of ATM.
  • Does he live near some mountains or a lake? going for a hike or walking beside a lake would be fun.

  • Make sure you're eating well. That's key!
Also, just try to stay active. Try not to lounge on the couch all day. Get out, walk around, go running, find somewhere to swim together, or go hiking. Alberta has some great hiking trails. Look up Hamilton Lake. The trail is very beautiful. :)
