I was super tired at 7pm but had to get the kids to bed and now I am wide awake!! I am not going to be a happy camper at my son's birthday party if I don't get some sleep. Maybe I can catch an afternoon nap after the party....wishful thinking!!

Typical night for me. Can't sleep. Tried a natural sleep aid tonight (melatonin, GABA, 5-HTC) which normally makes me pretty drowsy and nothing :/

Insomnia is killing me. I plan my next day and end up not doing anything b/c I'm so tired all the time. And I have a ton of work to do.

I'm usually up late and up early. I've got kids, and they have knees, elbows, and feet that find all of daddy's tender spots. Been up since about 2 nursing bruises and wounds.

I'm up. 3am. I only take my melatonin on work nights as I don't want to be that dependent on it. But then, this happens. Oh well, at least I don't have to work today.

got about 4 hours of sleep before the kids were up...which means I have to get up. Party went fine and then we came home to get a nap in and the hail storm hit and we had to run out and cover the plants in the garden. That was enough to wake me up! So much for the nap!
