If I never ate these things again I would be ok. Fried food makes me feel queasy now so it doesn't temp me at all. Actually it turns my stomach just looking at fried chicken. I eat cheesecake but it isn't my favortie dessert. I don't like Oreos, I like soft gooey warm cookies when I eat them.

I can't remember the last time I bought a candy bar, I eat them on Halloween maybe but would never feel like I need to buy one. Can't stand milk chocolate, I would prefer a high quality dark. I don't like the taste of alcohol so i don't drink it. I would choose to drink water over soda anyday!

Wow with this list you would think that I would be skinny!

    not tempted by mayo.....gross! At least, that is ONE fattening thing I do not want any part of!

    specifically: cakes, pies, pastries. Blech.

    My mom used to complain on my birthday because I would never eat the cake.

    Now: pizza, wine, potstickers? Yes please. Pizza and potstickers are my weakness.

    Soda is the only thing I used to have a lot of that I can go without now. Everything else is still a challenge for me

    Soda, definately. Before my GBS I could drink a 2 liter a day...coke, mountain dew, dr. pepper, etc...
    Now my pouch gets way too gassy and painful if I drink more than a few sips.
    Yes, when we're out at a restaurant or the movies, I will take a sip or two from hubby's soda, but it stops there.

    #1 - sugar - believe it or not. I was a total sugar addict all my life, then gave it up 8 years ago. Today, I have absolutely no interest in it. Sometimes I even buy products with sugar (i.e. salad dressing) for visitors, because I know I would not touch them, but the same product without sugar might.

    #2 - alcohol - also haven't had for 8 years

    I am tempted by just about anything else. Drats.

    Mac & cheese... it use to be my favorite thing but now if I have it I always regret it because ts just not as good now

    1) Candy/Food with peanut or peanut butter in it, and all commercial PB. The oil in PB upsets my stomach and gives me bad cramps for a few hours. Been this way for many years. I am, therefore, grateful for PB2.

    2) Soda. Hurts my teeth.

    3) Nachos. I am not entirely sure why since I like cheese and chips. Probably the overall presentation?

    4) Ketchup. I'm still not convinced this is a necessary accompaniment for food that is cooked right and well.

    5) BBQ sauce that has too much vinegar.

    6) Grits. Weirdest texture and taste for me.

    7) Most pizza, especially if it has a whole blob of tomato/pizza sauce as its base. This is closely tied with (4) above. :laugh:

    8) Licorice. 'nuff said.

    9) Jerky.

    10) Pickles. Gross. I don't like my vegetables crunchy and sour. But I love sauerkraut. Yes, I am contradicting myself somewhat. :tongue:
