Small victory at the beginning of my journey

In mid-May I started an internship at a company that has an on-site gym and free personal trainers for employees. I'm 5'1" and gained a lot of weight in grad school (I will finish in December), so I jumped on the opportunity to get active again. I came back to MFP (after a very very very long hiatus) on Monday, and have been doing pretty okay this week. I haven't had the best eating habits since starting personal training, but I feel like I'm back on track.

Anyway, working out has been going really well, and my first victory is that I've lost at least 5 pounds, but probably more! There are 2 different scales at the gym and they both say different weights, but they both say I'm about 5-7 lbs less than at the beginning of the summer.

This is really encouraging, and I hope I can keep it up!

Great job!!! I'm so glad you're back with MFP and restarting your weight loss journey!! It's especially nice that you have an on-site gym! :) Keep at it and I'm sure you will see even more successes! :)
