I was once at 398, almost hit that 400 pound mark. Now my body has the signs of it and fat that i seem to never be able to shed, even when i got to my lightest at 244. Any suggestions or ideas besides surgery???? it drives me crazy!!!

How much do you exercise? Do you lift weights to build muscle?

July 9 will be two years since lap band. Lost alot of weight real fast. Had a lot of hanging stuff. Started training a year and a half ago. My neck looks better. At first it gobbled!! I think through time, exercise, water and eating right some of the elasticity might come back. I just don't want any more surgery, but my arms are the ones that bother me the most. Way too much waving going on.

Stay with it. It won't disappear on it's own. The harder you work the better your results will be.
Drink nothing but water. And drink lots of it. 1 to 2 gallons a day. Cardio, lift, water, high protien diet.

    That's my 2 cents.

Weight lift as heavy as you possibly can. I am not talking about 5 or 10 lbs, I mean learn to squat, dealift, pull ups, push ups, etc. with as much weigh as you possibly can handle. You can't spot reduce areas, but when you do heavy weightlifting, it activates multiple muscle groups, and activates fat burning hormones. It also burns fat up to 36 hours after you work out. Check out the book "Body by Science" by Doug McGuff or Martin Berkhan'ss Lean Gains website http://www.leangains.com/
