Eating when you are not hungry.

I need help. Last week on my TOM and the week before that I was constantly hungry, really really hungry. It was so hard to stay within 1650 kcals. I even ate maintenance, chocolate, meat, rubbish. Flabbiness was the result. This week I am the total opposite only interested in plant/dairy food, urge to be exercising and finding it hard to eat enough calories. I have added sweets for high cals deliberately just not to be under 1200. My goal cals are between 1560 and 1650 I want to lose slowly, tone and feel good not yoyo. Today I had just under 800 cals to eat back.
I am 5'7 and 148lbs. Should I force myself to eat? I do not want to starve myself but it does seem stupid to sit here feeling stuffed from eating food I did not want. Especially as I know I will make up for it round TOM anyway. The pattern seems to repeat every month. Thanks for your help. I keep thinking that if I were not using Mfp I would definitely not be eating this much.

Is it really hot where you are? Generally, on really hot days, we're less hungry I think.
If you're really not hungry, then don't worry about it. Just make sure that when you are eating, because you're eating less, that you're eating the right foods and getting your protein, vitamins and minerals. Also make sure you stay hydrated!.0 -
Thanks, no it has been miserable and rainy here. I will try drinking more and adding nuts. Macademias are lovely.0

What I do is keep track of my extra calories in my food notes and consider them free calories. Right now I'm sitting on a "float" of about 1000, and I'll be really glad I am once my TOM comes around and begs me for chocolate. :laugh:0
