Looking Older or Younger

I have been overweight all my life. I know I have a ways to go before I get down to the weight I want to be at. I have never fully gotten to me desired weight. I am afraid now that I am older that when I lose weight I will look even older and not younger. Has this ever happened to anyone or does everyone just seem to look younger when the weight is gone? I am really worried about this.

Thanks!

Just loose the weight first. Then, worry about everything else when you got there.

i lost 145 pounds in 2008 after being overweight for all of my 30s....i looked younger when i lost the weight .... i regained 70 pounds and am starting to look older again...i'm worried like you that when the weight goes this time it will not 'tuck' as nicely...

like the other lady said...the weight loss is most important so i'm focusing on that and hoping for the best...

i have loose skin from the last weight loss but i see them as my battle scars....i've had to work on my body image as well as weight loss...and just love myself and the fact that i am alive and reasonably healthy...

if you are really looking for something to distract you...just picture yourself going into your doctors office and having your doctor say...'well weight is not an issue'....i really want to hear those words again....

    good luck to you...

exactly. focus more on getting healthy than anything else!!! You can't change your face so you might as well change what you can and be your own best!
