    Thats why girls who are like 30lbs heavier than me look better lol! i need to do weights more..

    I just posted that same pic on Facebook the other day and it def helps to lift weights. I look better now lifting 3-4 days per week and cardio 2 days per week than I did doing cardio 5-6 days per week! My motivation is I'm turning 40, hypothyroidism is a definite concern going into my 40s since my mom has a hypoactive thyroid since her early 40s so I figure build mad muscle now for the imminent muscle loss in my future and hopefully keep my metabolism in overdrive...hope it keeps working!

    I lift three times a week alternating upper and lower body. We hate it because we are told we will look bulky. I have to admit...when I first start I definitely bulk up...but then, fat melts off like butter in a hot skillet!!!!

    Interesting, but why yuck? It doesn't gross me out any more than the muscle or a picture of an internal organ. Every healthy human has some fat on them, so It's hard to consider a healthy part of the body yuck-worthy.
