What Foods Are You Eating on Weight Lost Journey?

I get it that it is about what you are eating and not so much about eating( under 1200) few calories. What are some foods that you think have helped you to lose on your weight lost journey? I am at a plateau and I really, really would like to get ideas about what foods I should be eating. I'm think this is the reason I am not losing anymore.

    i like to eat fruit and veggies, chicken, eggs and egg whites, turkey bacon, yogurt, cottage cheese, protein bars, nuts and nut butters, 100 calorie popcorn bags, ezekiel bread

    I eat anything and everything I've ever eaten before - *in moderation*. While I try to eat at least some semblance of "clean" (lean meats, plenty of fruits/vegetables, etc.), I also occasionally eat burgers, french fries, pizza, beer, fried chicken, mexican food, hot wings, chocolate, sushi, takeout chinese food and all other kinds of wonderful things. With that said, I stay within my calorie limits most days and am usually very close to my carb/fat/protein macros. Moderation and sustainability are the big factors for me.
  • i'm totally on a tuna kick right now and it really has been helping me. light tuna with a tiny tiny bit of light mayo added in, usually i eat it plain but sometimes i'll put it on a slice of bread or a small tortilla--filling, low-cal, and lots of protein!

    All natural turkey burgers on wheat buns and cheese thats sliced ultra thin!

    Oh, and definitely Edy's Antioxidant Fruits Bars. Delicious popsicles for only 50 calories each in this heat?

    fat/sugar free... or less then 6-8 grs/serving size of either one.

    Daily I eat fresh whole foods. 1800 - 2300 calories a day

    This is what I eat on a regular day:

    Lean chicken, lean turkey breast steak, lean meat, tuna
    Half a dozen - 8 egg whites, 1 egg yolk
    Lots of vege & Fruit
    Wholegrain cereal (Weet bix)

    Occasionally
    2 - 3 slices wholegrain bread
    Greek yoghurt
    Brown Rice
    Protein shake
    Diet jelly
    Sushi

    Sometimes:

    Lollie treat after sport
    Pad Thai every 1-2 weeks
  • my favorites are:
    -cauliflower "rice"/ "riced" cauliflower
    -frozen bananas ( has the consistency of ice cream ),
    -frozen grapes ( has the consistency of sherbert i think it's called or ices )
    -tuna salad with salsa instead of mayo or yogurt
    -turkey/grilled fish tacos with romaine lettuce wraps instead of bread/shells/burrito wraps
    - Zucchini Spaghetti
    - Mash Cauliflower/parsnip ( taste/looks like mash potatoes )

    I eat tons of fruit. I have to go to the grocery store 3 times a week. Strawberries are my current favorite...You can eat so many, and they have relatively low carbs. I also like to eat almonds and raisins for a snack...I've convinced myself it tastes like chocolate.
