Am I getting enough???

I'm not certain how this whole "calorie counting" thing works, to be honest. I understand that I have a target number of calories to stay under every day. I get that. What I don't understand is if I am exercising (which I have been doing daily) and burning off a bunch of calories, do I have to consume additional calories throughout the day to make up for what I am expending during my cardio workouts? For example...I am "allowed" 1,200 calories each day. On average I burn about 700 calories during my workouts, which in turn bumps up my allotted caloric intake to 1900. . . the only "problem" so to say is that I'm really watching what I have been eating. I've been getting plenty of protein, and lots of fruits and veggies...so I haven't come anywhere close to that 1900 number. Is this a problem? Is my body getting adequate nutrition? My target number for today was 1,945 calories and I only consumed 1, 020 calories--but I'm not hungry. I don't want to eat just to meet a "goal" number...or am I misunderstanding this whole process and I am actually doing well? Anyone who knows, please fill me in. Thanks a million!

You dont need to eat them all back no...but eating 1000 or less is not healthy, you should not go below 1200. Its not only unhealthy but its unsafe unless your 4 ft something and never move all day. You need to find your bmr (what your body burns to function) and you need to eat that at least and no less, eating below what your body would burn if you laid on the couch all day and your out and moving and working out you will devlope problems and its very unsafe....one or 2 days of under 1200 not a big deal but do not make it a constant thing. I tend to loose more weight when i eat more
