Accupuncture treatment experience

Hi, I am currently undergoing accupuncture treamtment for my achilles tendonitis problem in both the heel tendons.I had been on pain killers for last 10 months. My achilles problem is over 2 years old.

If you guys can share your experiences with accupunture and number of treatments it needed to be cured from the problem you had. I have done 4 treatments and atleast not taking pain killers for over a week now but pain is obviously there. When I was taking tablets I was not feeling the pain. I am not sure about the outcome of this treatment because no one around me has every used it. I dont know if it will help mein removing this pain. I would like to hear from you guys about it. Thanks
