more protein at the end of the day

Hi all, I was just wondering if it is super important to have the carbs, fats and protein figures right at the end of the day. I am on 1400 calories and usually my protein is about 20 over and fat about 10 and my carbs are under. Does it make a huge difference because I like what I eat and feel good. I don't really want to go on a "Diet".I only want to lose a pound a week and I am on the sedentary setting, I also ride for half an hour and walk the dogs which I log. Has anyone else out there lost weight when the figures were not exact? Thanks

i've lost lots without always staying in my #s.

i have seen posted here that the protein #s are generally considered too low.

I have the same thing and I losing more than a pound a week. If you think of the Adkins diet--that was mostly protein and protein is important for building muscle. I hope it's a good thing because I am not going to worry about it.

One of the fitness trainers at the gym I attend suggested I have 100grams of protein a day.
That's a lot more than what MFP suggested.

You can actually go in and adjust the % of your calories that come from carbs/fat/protein. I tend to think MFP puts a little much on the carbs and not enough on the protein, but that's just my opinion.
