30 Day Shred - no rest days?

From what I'm reading on here, it looks like some of these 30 day workout videos are for every single day (30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, etc.). I thought at least one rest day a week was important. Isn't it?

I'd love to hear from people who've done one of these before. Did you do it straight through? Did you stretch it out longer to incorporate rest days? Maybe you just rested from other cardio while doing the Shred workout daily?

I'm looking to start today or tomorrow, while still keeping up my treadmill miles each week.

Thanks!

It isn't super explicit in the description but I'm pretty sure at some point in the video Jillian says to do it at least 5 days a week. I'd suggest listening to your body, aim for 5 and do more if you're feeling it, take an active recovery (go for a brisk walk or play some sports) day if your body asks for it.

I am on day 8 of it and so far I only missed one day. I did other exercise that day but never got round to doing shred (life interfered) I'm not suffering because I sit on my a** the rest of the day *laff* I have noticed I am not loosing any weight on this but I am loosing inches and fat is becoming muscle so I guess I can't complain. Going to move to Level 2 on Tuesday...

Thanks! I'll aim for 5 days a week then.
