TOO THE WINNERS ON MFP!! Have I gotten it??:)

I think that proverbial light-bulb went on this a.m. I was so depressed over my pictures I took yesterday, 3 views of my body in bathing-suit, that I just got on here this a.m. and started reading, looking at other before and afters etc. I believe I have the idea now. It isn't about the scale. I need to change my focus from what I weigh to how my body shapes up. Today I am going to focus only on what I can do to build and tone my muscles. What foods will fuel my body best and not deprive it. I am not going to even measure with a tape.

I was eating less calories and losing weight(9 lbs)but the only things shaping up have been my legs because I know walking does burn fat from all areas but, it will not build any upper body muscle. So today I start a regular routine of exercise/strength training to shape up all parts. More work for sure but I realized BIGTIME that fat wasn't the only thing about this journey;)

    Don't know which of your photos are the more recent ones, but I sure don't see any to get depressed about -- you look great! You clearly know what you're doing, so you might as well keep doing it. Success is difficult to argue with.
