calculating marinades

So, after trying to calculate the calories for a super yummy marinade I found for chicken (I did it through the recipe thing)...I don't feel as if it's accurate. When I poured out the left over marinade of course most of the olive oil was still in there...but I am guessing it calculates as if you ate it!? I now have tons of "fat" on my diary.
I don't really care so much about the calories on that one b/c the cals are fairly low...but wow. It's like 15 grams of fat if you just figure it like you ate the olive oil.
Any thoughts on this!?

Maybe measure the entire marinade before and after and then calculate it as a separate serving. When I do marinades they don't use a lot of fat so I just calculate the entire thing.0
