NSV - Finally seeing a change!

So, my weight has been up and down, and I recently went to my heaviest ever - boo! :grumble:
So, I got back into my eating and workout routines, and although the scale hasn't moved much, I've FINALLY noticed a change in my body.
I have bicep muscles. Teeny, tiny, little bicep muscles that I can see flexing when I bend my arms. I still need to lose a lot of weight, but this has made me so unbelievably excited!!!
I LOVE lifting, but I thought it wasn't doing much, so to see this makes me wanna go and lift heavier! Now, if I could figure out how to lose fat round my stomach and triceps, that'd be awesome, but since you can't spot reduce, I guess I'll have to be patient.
I also notice in my thighs, they don't rub together as much now, although they still do a little bit.
Cardio alone wasn't getting me results, this is, and I'm so happy about it, it's unreal! Of course, diet is key too.
Just feel so happy that finally I'VE noticed something!

I think what did it was upping my bicep curl weight from 20 to 30lbs - it's probably made my muscles think, "Aaah, I have to grow to do this heavy lifting thing!"
Yeah it's not heavy by most standards but I'm 5ft 2 so it is to me0 -
And the NSV's keep coming!
Added 20lbs to my squat today - so 65lb in total now, for around 6 reps before my form went downhill.
Nice man in the gym showed my DB bench press and suggested I start there and work up to the bar.
Oh, and I tried some new machines, so I'm REALLY feeling it right now!0 -
It's so rewarding to see it when the scales don't show much. Awesome NSV!0

Here's the thing. I now squat nearly as much as I need/want to lose. That's HEAVY! Can't believe I'm carrying that much excess weight with me! Ah well, it'll be gone eventually0
